I began my studies at the University of Michigan as a pre-med student, but after taking a class working with Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti youth, I discovered that solving medical mysteries was not nearly as rewarding for me as unraveling the mysteries of adolescence. I promptly switched programs and graduated in December 2008 with a B.A. and certified to teach secondary English and biology. I am excited to be here at PAE, and when I am not teaching, I can most likely be found exploring museums in Detroit, taking in the Ann Arbor art scene, or relaxing on my porch with a good book.
