Having spent 25+ years in business as a business owner, sales manager and administrator, I came to believe that my talents could be used in my first love, science. I choose to work at Pontiac Academy for Excellence so that I could bring my experience in the business world and my passion for science in a emergent atmosphere. I am a hands-on teacher, I like to have students touch, observe, take apart and predict in real world situations. And, since I have three teenage children, I can understand student anxiety and the peer atmosphere in high school.
When I am not at school, I am watercolor artist and potter. I enjoy gardening and home improvement projects.
